Police Appeal To Trace Driver In Worfield Road Collision
Police today appealed for help in tracing the driver of a car involved in a three vehicle collision at Worfield, near Bridgnorth.
The collision happened at around 1pm yesterday on the A454 at the turning for Worfield Golf Club.
Police Constable Ian Cole, the investigating officer, has appealed for witnesses to help locate a fourth vehicle involved which suffered no damage but failed to stop.
Two people were injured, a man with a face injury who was taken to the Princess Royal Hospital at Telford and a man with back injuries taken to Wolverhampton's New Cross Hospital.
PC Cole said the three vehicles, all travelling in the same direction, received minor damage.
"The fourth vehicle is believed to be a pale metallic green car with two occupants. I am appealing for witnesses to contact Bridgnorth police station on the non-emergency 101 number."
He added: "It's believed this vehicle drove back past the scene while officers and paramedics were at the scene. The occupants were described as elderly."
