Police Authority Funding For Llanymynech Village Hall CCTV
West Mercia Police Authority has given £1,000 towards the cost of installing CCTV cameras at Llanymynech Village Hall.
The Authority approved the grant from its community safety fund following an application from PC Pete Dale, the Local Policing Officer for Oswestry Rural South.
It is hoped the cameras will help deter criminal damage in the area.
Total cost of the scheme is around £2,500 with a further £1,000 grant coming from the Local Joint Committee and the hall committee raising the remainder.
PC Dale said he was delighted the Police Authority had agreed to support the proposal.
