Police Issue CCTV Picture Following Theft From Bridgnorth Supermarket
Police have issued this CCTV picture of a man who may be able to help with the investigation into a shoplifting incident at Bridgnorth.
They want him to make contact as he may have vital information to assist in tracing a thief who stole a television from the Sainsbury store in Whitburn Street.
A boxed 40-inch LCD Samsung television worth £350 was taken from a display area near the tills between 7.40pm and 8pm on Monday, January 16.
The man in the picture was near the display area at the time and the investigating officer, Police Constable Catherine Rapson, believes he may be a witness.
She said: "I'd like this man to get in touch with Bridgnorth police station on the 101 non-emergency number. He was in the shop at the time, close to where the television was taken from, and may have information which will assist the investigation."
The man is described as white, aged about 30 to 40, of medium build, clean shaven and with dark hair. He was wearing a grey hooded top.
"I would also urge anyone else who thinks they can recognise him to get in touch," added PC Rapson.
