Police Renew Witness Appeal Over Road Collision Near Much Wenlock

Police today renewed their appeal for witnesses to a road collision near Much Wenlock involving a car and a trailer being towed by a tractor.

A 65-year-old man who was driving a black Seat Ibiza received multiple fractures in the collision, which happened on the B4378 between Bourton and Much Wenlock at about 7.10pm on Friday.

He was taken to the Princess Royal Hospital, Telford where his condition is serious but stable.

The car was travelling towards Much Wenlock when involved in a collision with a trailer being towed by a green and yellow John Deere tractor.  There were no other injuries.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said today: "Anyone who saw the collision or the circumstances leading up to it, is asked to contact Bridgnorth police station by dialling 101."
