Police Seek Silver Car Following Collision - Bromsgrove
Officers in Bromsgrove are appealing for information following a collision which happened last Monday (23 July).
A tractor travelling towards Bromsgrove on Copyholt Lane was involved in a collision with a car travelling in the opposite direction at around 2pm.
Although the vehicles did not make contact, the tractor swerved to avoid the car - described as a silver vehicle, possibly a Mercedes, driven by a woman - causing the tractor to come off the road and hit a tree.
PC Carita Caldicott from Bromsgrove police station said: "The driver of the tractor was taken to hospital following this incident, where he required surgery for broken bones in his neck.
"Because of this, we urgently need to speak to the driver of the silver car and I would ask for her to come forward.
"Although she may not realise what happened to the tractor after she drove away, she has failed to stop at the scene of an accident and we need to speak to her in order to fully understand the circumstances of the collision.
"I would also appeal for anyone who knows the identity of the driver or the location of the car involved in this incident, to call us."
Anyone with information about this incident can call PC Caldicott on 0300 333 3000, quoting 358S 230712.
