Police Seek Witnesses To Two Bridgnorth Area Burglaries

Police are appealing for witnesses following burglaries at two homes in the Bridgnorth area.

Power and hand tools were taken from a home on Ironbridge Road, Broseley which was broken into between 1am and 8.30am yesterday.

Among the items stolen were a Mountfield strimmer, Makita cordless drill and a Stihl disc cutter.

A woman's ring was among items stolen when thieves smashed a patio door window to gain entry to a house in Victoria Road, Bridgnorth.

The breakin happened between 7.45am and 8pm yesterday.  Damage amounting to £350 was also caused.

Police are urging anyone with information about the burglaries to contact Bridgnorth police station by dialling 101.  Information can also be given to the anonymous Crimestoppers number, 0800 555 111.
