Police Want Worcester Assault Victim To Come Forward
An unidentified man seen on CCTV being assaulted by a woman outside Worcester's Foregate Street Station has been urged by police to come forward.
Images - recorded at approximately 6.57pm on 26 July - show the grey-haired victim being either hit or violently pushed by a female who then went into the station building.
People near the man, who was wearing light-coloured shorts and a three-coloured top, restrained him from following the woman who had long, dark hair and wore a white top, coloured skirt and knee-length boots.
"CCTV footage appears to show a totally unprovoked assault on a man at the seating area immediately outside the station and we would like the victim - and any witnesses - to come forward to help with our enquiries," said a police spokesman.
The victim, or anyone else who believes that they have useful information, is asked to call police on 0300 333 3000, quoting 729S/260710. Information can also be given - anonymously - to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
