Police Witness Appeal To Oswestry Restaurant Burglary
Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after burglars broke into an Oswestry restaurant and stole about £300.
The break-in happened at the Red Rose Bangladeshi Restaurant in Willow Street between 11.45pm on Sunday and 10am yesterday (Monday).
A window was forced and money stolen, including a box containing staff tips.
Police are anxious to hear from anyone with information about the burglary or those involved.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "We are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the Willow Street area overnight on Sunday, to contact Oswestry police station on 101.
"Information can also be given to the anonymous Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111."
