Purse Stolen From Cancer Hospice - Bromsgrove
Police are appealing for information to identify a man who tricked his way into a staff office at the Primrose Hospice, Bromsgrove and stole a purse.
The man went into the building in St Godwald's Road at approximately 3.30pm this afternoon (Thursday 2 August) and pretended to be working as an alarms engineer.
He was challenged outside the building and ran off along St Godwald's Rd towards Bromsgrove train station.
The man is described as white, 6ft tall, slim build, with short dark hair. He was aged in either his 20s or 30s and was wearing dark trousers, a grey polo shirt and a light grey checked jacket.
PC Simeon Darrall-Jones said: "We need to trace this man and we are also interested in finding a woman who went into the Droitwich branch of Natwest bank approximately half an hour after the purse was stolen and used a stolen card to withdraw cash".
Anyone with information for the police should call officers at Bromsgrove by dialling 101 and quoting incident number 420s 020812.
