Ramps Stolen From Motorway Services Near Halesowen
Police are appealing for witnesses to the theft of ramps from a recovery vehicle parked at Frankley Services on the M5 near Halesowen.
The two aluminium ramps, worth around £2,500, were taken from a silver Mercedes Sprinter flatbed lorry at the rear of the parking area on the southbound services between 2.45pm and 3pm on Friday 25 November.
The driver had just delivered a car in the Halesowen area and had stopped for a short break before driving back to his base in Berkshire.
The ramps had been specially made. They were 8ft long and about 18 inches wide, and slide inside the flatbed when not in use.
Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact West Mercia Police on 0300 333 3000 quoting incident 551-s-251111 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
