Shrewsbury Homes Burgled As Residents Sleep
Three homes in Shrewsbury were broken into and searched overnight as the residents slept.
Property worth several thousand pounds was stolen from two houses in Bishop Street and another home in nearby Whitehall Street.
The three burglaries are being linked and police have appealed for information. They want to hear from anyone who spotted anything suspicious in the area between 11pm last night and 7.30am today.
Entry was gained by forcing a window at all the addresses and downstairs rooms searched while the occupants were asleep. The breakins were discovered when they awoke and came downstairs.
