Thieves Risk Death Cutting Overhead Power Lines Near Market Drayton
Thieves put their lives at risk by cutting overhead power cables between two pylons near Market Drayton.
They stole about 500 metres of copper cable after climbing up to cut the live lines between the pylons in a field at Pipe Gate, near Market Drayton.
It happened between 10pm Wednesday and 7am yesterday. Police are investigating the incident and appealing for information. Contact Market Drayton police station on 101 or the anonymous Crimestoppers number, 0800 555 111.
