Two Arrested After Attempted Pub Burglary, Worcester
Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted break in at a Worcester pub in the early hours of yesterday (19 December).
At around 12.55am, three men attempted to force entry to the Timberdine Pub on Bath Road and its alarm was found to have been tampered with.
Around 20 minutes later, two men were stopped in Primrose Crescent by patrolling officers who recognised their description. They were found with a number of items, including an angle grinder, that led them to be arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary.
They were questioned by detectives and released on police bail pending further investigations.
Detective Sergeant Dave Knight of Worcester CID said: "I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the St Peter's area, in particular Bath Road and Primrose Crescent."
