Two Arrested After Drugs Seized In Kidderminster

Police have arrested two people after seizing cocaine, ecstasy and cannabis during the execution of a search warrant in Kidderminster on Friday (11 November).

Officers executed the warrant at a property in Walter Nash Road East at 2.20pm.

Eight cannabis plants were seized along with a quantity of cocaine and ecstasy, a large quantity of cash and growing and measuring equipment.  

Two men were arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled class A and B drugs with intent to supply and money laundering, and were taken to Kidderminster Police Station for questioning.

They have both been released on police bail until Friday, February 10, 2012.

PC Ian Carter of West Mercia Police said today: "We continue to take strong action against anyone involved in production, use and supply of drugs.

"Anyone who suspects drugs are being produced or supplied in their area is asked to call police as soon as possible with any information they may have."
