Two In Court Charged With Burglary At Kidderminster
Two men who were arrested during an incident which closed the Alvechurch Highway in Redditch on Monday afternoon (7 November) appeared before Kidderminster magistrates yesterday (Wednesday, 9 November) charged with burglaries and other offences.
Roy Wallace, aged 43 (Date of Birth 1/6/1968), of Lingard Close, Nechells, Birmingham, and Nickolas Wallace, aged 20 (Date of Birth 20/8/1991), of Eathorpe Close, Redditch, appeared jointly charged with burglary at an address in Cardinal Drive, Kidderminster, on Monday (7 November). They are accused of stealing a laptop, jewellery and electrical items there worth around £1,300.
Both have also been charged with possession of Cannabis, a Class B controlled drug.
Roy Wallace also appeared charged with dangerous driving between the A449 at Ombersley and the Alvechurch Highway on Monday (7 November); burgling TDI Supplies Ltd at the Imex Business Centre in Oxleasow Road, Redditch, between September 2 and 5 this year (2011) and stealing a laptop, computer and mountain bike there; and stealing a Ford Connect van in a burglary at HydraForce Hydraulics Ltd in Aston, Birmingham, between 25 and 28 February this year (2011).
Nickolas Wallace admitted the burglary he was charged with and possession of cannabis. He was remanded in custody to appear at Worcester Crown Court for sentencing on 9 December.
Roy Wallace did not enter any pleas and was remanded in custody to appear before Kidderminster magistrates again next Wednesday, 16 November.
