Two Men Arrested After Drugs Seized In Bromsgrove

West Mercia Police officers arrested two men after seizing drugs during the execution of a search warrant at a property in Austin Road, Charford, Bromsgrove, early today  (Friday, 27 July).

The men were arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after a quantity of class A and class B drugs were seized, including cannabis, along with materials used for the production and supply of cannabis.

After questioning the men were released on police bail until 17 October pending further inquiries.

PC Tom Clayton, from Bromsgrove Police Station said: "Although the issue of drugs is no more of a problem in Bromsgrove than it is elsewhere in the county, we will always robustly tackle production and supply of illegal substances due to the immeasurable misery they cause within our communities.

"By proactively targeting those who choose to engage in this type of criminality, we are bringing to justice people who cause so much harm within our local neighbourhoods.

"I would appeal for anyone who has any information around drug misuse and associated crimes to contact us on the non-emergency number 101, or anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
