Witness Appeal After Cars Damaged In Inkberrow

Police are appealing for information after a number of cars were damaged in Inkberrow earlier this week.

At least nine vehicles were targeted with spray paint between 10pm and 11.30pm on Tuesday, 29 May.

The cars were all parked in and around Pepper Street in the village when they were vandalised.

PC Tony Carter from Droitwich police station is investigating the incident. He said: "This mindless act of vandalism on so many cars has caused thousands of pounds of damage.

"There does not appear to be any motive behind the damage at this time and no individuals have been specifically targeted.

"I would appeal to anyone in the Inkberrow area who may have had any spray paint taken from them or knows of someone who has recently purchased some to get in touch.

"I am also keen to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the vicinity of Pepper Street on Tuesday night."

Anyone with information about this incident can call PC Carter on 0300 333 3000, quoting 323N 290512 or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
