Witness Appeal After Man Dies In Worcester Car Park Collision

Police in Worcester are appealing for witnesses to a collision in which a man died.

The incident took place yesterday (Monday, 17 September) at around 3pm when the car he was driving - a black Peugeot 407 - hit a wall in the car park of Moor Street Clinic.

Emergency services attended following a number of calls from concerned members of the public.

The man - who was in his 70s and from Worcester - was pronounced dead at the scene.

He has not yet been named.

PC Mark Roberts is investigating the collision. He said: "Our thoughts are with the man's friends and family at this sad time as we try to piece together exactly how the collision happened.

"He was the only person inside the car and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the vehicle travelling along Moor Street before it entered the car park."

The Worcestershire Coroner has been informed of the man's death and a post mortem will take place in due course.
