Witness Appeal After Serious Injury Collision In Alvechurch
Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision in Alvechurch, North Worcestershire, in which a man was badly injured.
It happened in Redditch Road at around 7.45pm on Friday, 9 December.
A silver Vauxhall Astra driven by a 30-year-old Redditch man, was heading towards Bordesley when it collided with a wall.
The driver sustained head and leg injuries and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham where he remains in a critical condition. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.
PC David Craister of West Mercia Police said: "As with all fatal and serious injury collisions, the road was closed for several hours, in this case until just before midnight, to enable investigations to take place.
"It is vital we speak to any witnesses or anyone else with information as the smallest detail can be vital in helping us piece together what happened."
