Witness Appeal Following Barn Arson In Stourport

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an arson attack on a barn in Stourport on Sunday, 13 November.

West Mercia Police and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (H&WFRS) were alerted to the fire in Bullock Lane just before 7am.

Ten cows were rescued from the barn and the fire was bought under control at around 9.45am.

Several hundred pounds worth of damage was caused to the barn as well as damage to farming equipment.

PC Paul Modley said: "We believe the fire was started deliberately and are working closely with the fire service to investigate the circumstances.

"We would like to hear from anyone who remembers any suspicious activity in the area on Sunday morning or has information that could help our investigation."
