Wooden Gates Stolen In Evesham
Police are appealing for information after the theft of expensive solid wooden gates from The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at Twyford, Evesham.
The gates, thought to be worth several thousand pounds, were taken between 10pm on Thursday 1 December and 9am on Friday 2 December.
PC James Wood, from Evesham Police Station, said: "It would be unusual for someone to take such gates if they didn't have a specific purpose in mind for them leaving me to believe that they were either stolen to order or for the offenders themselves.
"Witnesses saw a white pick up type van in the area on the evening that they were stolen and we would like anyone with other information which may help the inquiry to come forward. Please call police at Evesham on 0300 333 3000 and quote ois number 0046N 021211."
