Youth Arrested In Redditch After Snack Van Cash Theft

Police arrested a youth this afternoon (Thursday, 24 November) on suspicion of theft after receiving a report that cash had been stolen from a snack van at Matchborough in Redditch.

The theft of the cash, which was in a tin, was reported at 11.46pm today by staff at a caravan selling sandwiches and other snacks in Bartleet Road.

Officers were sent to the scene and a short time later arrested a youth in the area in connection with the offence.

He is currently being questioned at Redditch Police Station.
