We Don't Buy Crime in the Community

'We Don't Buy Crime' protecting your home and possessions

Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police are committed to significantly reducing the likelihood that residents and businesses will be a victim of crime. 'We Don't Buy Crime' will be out and about in your community, engaging with residents, businesses and partners, helping to protect your home and possessions.

'We Don't Buy Crime' recognises that crime causes harm to our communities, but by working together we can significantly reduce the likelihood that our residents will fall victim.

We know that a person's home and possessions often carry an emotional attachment and when a criminal interferes with this, it can have a long-lasting impact on the victim. When a burglary occurs at a residential property, we aim to provide a quality service and prevent people falling victim again. We will provide the latest technology in property marking systems, SmartWater, free of charge and 'We Don't Buy Crime' information packs will be circulated in the community, raising awareness of these crimes and how to prevent them.

'We Don't Buy Crime' towns and villages

We are working with our partners in the community to create the UK's first 'We Don't Buy Crime' towns and villages, where every residential property will be offered the opportunity to secure the latest technology in property marking systems, SmartWater,  free of charge to protect homes and possessions.

By working in partnership we will protect homes and possessions from would-be thieves.
