As well as dealing with crime officers will:

  • Undertake 2 place of safety orders under section 136 of the Mental Health Act
  • Deal with 177 ASB incidents
  • Respond to 8 missing person reports
  • Carry out 40 stop and searches. Of those 24 are drugs related. Of the 40 stop and searches 3 will result in an arrest
  • Attend 11 road traffic collisions where there are casualties
  • Respond to 25 incidents flagged as being associated with mental health issues
  • There is approximately one officer on patrol for every 13,118 people
  • Officers will make 69 arrests, 1.9 of these will be for sexual offences
  • Officers will deal with, amongst other crimes, 11 dwelling burglaries, 93 thefts, 19 thefts of motor vehicles, 50 violent crimes, 2 robberies and 2 rapes
  • There will be 10 cautions
  • Approximately 469 999 calls are received
  • Approximately 1151 incidents are recorded
  • Approximately 223 crimes are reported
