West Mercia Young Good Citizen 2017

West Mercia Police has launched the search for our Young Good Citizens of 2017: An opportunity to recognise and publicise the great work done by many young people in our communities.

The event allows us to deliver a positive message about our youth to the wider public and strengthens the relationship between police and young people.

We want to hear about those young people aged 18 or under who have displayed great spirit and are making a real difference. We are particularly keen to receive nominations about young people who have overcome challenges in their own lives and have still been able to make a difference to others in their community. We are inviting nominations from schools, youth leaders, and members of the public.

All nominees meeting the criteria will receive a Young Good Citizen Certificate from their Safer Neighbourhood Police Team. Ten of these (two from each policing area) along with the person that proposed them, will be invited to a final awards ceremony at Police HQ attended by Chief Officers and High Sheriffs.

Do you know someone that deserves recognition? If so please follow the attached link:-
