A 27-year-old woman from Hindley was also sentenced to twelve months imprisonment suspended for eighteen months in connection with the incident.

Approximately £2,571 was seized and forfeited under the Proceeds of Crime Act.

Investigating Officer, PC Dave Wood said: "This is a fantastic result, which sends a clear message to criminals who travel to our force area to commit crime that it won't be tolerated and will be dealt with strongly."
