Did you witness a fatal collision in Romsley?

West Mercia Police is appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision that happened in Romsley on Thursday morning (15 June).

The collision occurred at approximately 7:40am on the Bromsgrove Road, near to the Swallow's Nest public house. It is believed that a silver Vauxhall Corsa was travelling from Poplar Lane and has been involved in a collision with a silver Ford Transit on the Bromsgrove Road. The vehicles have subsequently collided with a cyclist who was also travelling on the Bromsgrove Road. Sadly, the cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who saw the manner in which the vehicles were being driven at the time. If you have any information, please contact police on 101, quoting incident number 99S of 15 June.
