Witness appeal following burglary in Kidderminster

West Mercia Police is appealing for information to a burglary that took place on 1 July between 10:15am and 10:30am fro a property on Orchard Street, Kidderminster.

A man knocked on the door of a property and claimed he was calling from the 'water board' and that he needed to access the stop tap due to a leak.

Once access was granted into the property the man conducted a search and proceeded to remove an amount of cash from the premises.

The man is believed to have left in the direction of Blackwell street and is described as a white male wearing a peaked navy blue/black cap with a dark jacket bearing a white logo and the left breast area.
