Appeal for witnesses following attempted robbery of teenager, Stourport-on-Severn

Police were called to a report of an attempted robbery in which a teenage boy was assaulted.

The incident happened on Tuesday (4 July) at around 8:50am, in an alleyway that connects Dunley Road to the B4196 in Stourport-on-Severn.

The boy was walking through the alleyway, when he came into contact with an unknown 30 to 40-year-old man. The man punched the boy in his face, before asking him whether he had any possessions on him or in his bag.

The offender, described as a white man with a shaved head and wearing a white vest, left the scene without taking any items.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have any information, or who may have seen the offender around the area at the time of the incident. Please contact 101, quoting incident 144S of 4 July.
