Did you see a collision in Billingsley over the weekend?

West Mercia Police is appealing for witnesses to a collision that happened on Saturday afternoon (8 July), in which a passenger was seriously injured.

The single-vehicle collision happened at around 12:55pm near to the Bridgnorth Lodge on the B4363 in Billingsley, Bridgnorth. It was here that a Blue Peugeot 307 left the carriageway and collided with a tree.

As well as the driver, the car contained two passengers, one of whom was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious injuries to his hip. The driver suffered minor injuries to his hand and ankle, and the third occupant was unharmed.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have seen the vehicle prior to this happening. Should you have any information, please contact West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident 452S of 8 July.
