Witnesses sought to collision near Inkberrow

Investigating officers are appealing for witnesses to a two car collision near Inkberrow.

It happened on the A422 Inkberrow to Flyford Flavell road around 3.50pm on Sunday (3 September).

A blue Hyundai was travelling away from Worcester and a white Ford Ranger pickup was travelling in the opposite direction when the two vehicles collided.

The driver of the Hyundai - a man in his 50s - suffered a serious head injury and was taken to hospital where he later died. No-one else was injured.

Enquiries are currently ongoing but police would like to speak with any witnesses to the incident or people who saw the vehicles and the manner in which they were being driven prior to the collision.
