Witness appeal to a robbery in Shrewsbury

West Mercia Police is appealing for information to a Robbery that took place from Robson Stores, Ellesmere Road, Shrewsbury on Saturday 2 September at approximately 12:50pm.

A man entered the store and has produced a bladed object.

He has, subsequently, threatened a member of staff and has demeaned access to the till.

After gaining access he has proceeded to remove an amount of cash before leaving the store.

The man is described as a white, approximately 5ft 9 tall with slim build and with a local accent.

He is believed to have been wearing a dark coloured hooded top with a light coloured zip on the front, Grey tracksuit bottoms with dark trainers and had grey, black and white gloves on.

He was also wearing a green coloured hat which had eye holes cut into it that he pulled down over his face prior to entering the shop.
