CCTV appeal after robbery at Bromsgrove Tesco

Detectives in Bromsgrove have issued CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to following a theft and robbery from Tesco Express on the Old Birmingham Road, Marlbrook.

The incident happened on Saturday (30 September) when an unknown man is reported to have stolen a charity box from the counter at around 8.10pm.

The same man is then believed to have returned to the shop at about 8.25pm, approaching the counter with a bladed article and demanding money from the tills.

"Incidents such as this are not common in the area and thankfully nobody was injured.

"We would like to speak to any customers who were in the store at the time and are particularly keen to identify and talk to the man pictured above.

"You could have important information about the incident that could help with our investigation and I urge you to call police on 101, quoting incident number 771s of 30 September if you can help.
