Man charged with firearm offence in Worcester

A 28 year-old man from Worcester has been charged with one offence involving an imitation firearm.

It follows an incident at the Fairfield centre on Carnforth Drive in Worcester yesterday (Monday, 9 October), where a man was arrested on suspicion of firearms act offence.

Today (Tuesday, 10 October), Martin Allen of Nibley Close in Worcester, was charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

He has been remanded in custody and is to appearing at Redditch Magistrates' today (Tuesday 10 October 2017).
