Update: Did you witness collision on A449, Droitwich

Investigating officers are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a car and a pedestrian on A449, Droitwich on Wednesday, 3 January.

The incident happened around 6.35pm at the junction of A449 and Stinton Lane in Ombersley, when a man in his 90s is reported to have been involved in a collision with a Mercedes C300 car as he crossed the road.

The man was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and suffered leg and head injuries.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 614s of 3 January 2018.

Update Issued: 7.50am, Friday 5 January 2018 - The man sadly died in hospital on the evening of Wednesday 3 January.
