Further witness appeal after fatal collision on A4169, Farley

Officers from West Mercia Police are issuing a renewed appeal for witnesses after a man died in a collision on the A4169 between Bildwas and Much Wenlock, near Farley on Friday 22 December.

Police and ambulance services were called to the location around 6.15pm, after receiving a report of a man being involved in a collision with a car.

The man, aged in his 30s, is reported to have exited a grey Peugeot estate before being in collision with a blue Ford C-Max estate travelling towards Buildwas, and was sadly confirmed deceased at the scene

Previous information appeals have identified further witnesses that have now been spoken to, and investigating officers are keen to speak with the driver of a black, Hackey carriage-style taxi that is believed to have been in the area at the time.

The driver may have important information that could help establish what happened in the moments before the collision.
