Police appeal for video footage of Kidderminster gas incident

Detectives are continuing to appeal for information after a noxious substance - believed to be CS gas - was released in Nu Bar in New Road, Kidderminster.

Police responded to the incident at 1.45am yesterday (Saturday 31 March).

Following the incident, two people were treated in hospital, and later released.

A 29-year-old man from Kidderminster was arrested on suspicion of possession a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid or gas, and assault. He has been bailed until the end of April while investigations continue.

Detective Constable Tom Pritchard said: "We are keen to ensure we have spoken to everyone who was in the bar, or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the surrounding area.

"We're also aware that there is video footage of the incident. If anyone has any footage or photos we've not seen then we'd also like to hear from them."
