The force area is divided into five local policing areas covering Herefordshire, North and South Worcestershire, Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin. PC to Sergeant - AFO, Operational Policing Unit - Constable on Promotion

Substantive Sergeant - AFO, Operational Policing Unit

Constable - Authorised Firearms Officer  (relocation expenses are payable subject to eligibility)

Firearms Trainer - Police Constable

Constables - Local Policing Response Officers

Accredited Detective Constables

Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police have entered into a collaboration agreement under Section 23 of the Police Act 1996 which allows for the transfer of officers between the two Forces without the need for permanent changes to their conditions of service. Successful candidates will be posted in accordance with the agreed Posting Principles.
