Man dies after disturbance

A man has died after a disturbance in a pub in Bromsgrove.

At 8.50pm last night (Saturday 7 April) police were called to a report of a disturbance in the Dog and Pheasant in Worcester Road.

A 47 year old man was taken to hospital in a serious condition where he later died.

Three men, aged 25, 48 and 52, have been arrested in connection with the incident.

Extra officers have been in the area today as enquiries into the incident continue.

T/Detective Inspector Sarah Squires said: "We're carrying out enquiries to establish the circumstances around this man's death and are keen to speak to anyone who was in the pub at the time who may have information that can help us with our enquiries.

"Extra officers have been in the local area as we carry out our enquiries and also to offer reassurance to members of the public."
