Three men bailed after man dies in Bromsgrove

Three men arrested after a man died in Bromsgrove have been bailed.

A 47-year-old man from Bromsgrove collapsed following an incident in the Dog and Pheasant on Worcester Road at around 8.50pm on Saturday (7 April). He was taken to hospital where he later died.

A 52-year-old from Derby, a 25-year-old man from Derby and a 48-year-old man from Telford were all arrested on suspicion of affray following the incident. They were subsequently arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.

The men have been bailed until the beginning of May while investigations continue.

Detective Sergeant James Beard said: "We're continuing enquiries to establish how the man died. We are awaiting the results of a post mortem.

"We'd still like to speak to anyone who has any information that could help with our enquiries."
