Assistant Chief Constable

Salary: £98,538 - £111,249

Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police have formed a groundbreaking Strategic Alliance, working together to do things only once across a range of functions whilst remaining as two forces with a shared single vision.

Chief Constables Martin Jelley and Anthony Bangham are seeking a dynamic and inspirational leader to work with them over the coming years, to meet future challenges and deliver the Police and Crime Plans.

We are establishing a third Assistant Chief Constable post with a role to have leadership and accountability for those policing services that operate across both forces. If that sounds unusual, that's because it is. The structure and accountabilities are challenging, but it works because we make it work.

This post requires an energetic, operationally strong team player with a proven track record in leading change.

You must demonstrate a strong commitment to partnership working and the ability to deliver effective policing services to the communities of Warwickshire and West Mercia.

Applications are invited from candidates who have successfully completed the Strategic Command Course and can demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and experience at a strategic level of command.

For an informal discussion about the post with a member of the Chief Officer team, Louise Wall (Staff Officer to Anthony Bangham) on 01905 331630 or email
