Appeal for witnesses to suspected arson in Bromsgrove

West Mercia Police is appealing for witnesses after a suspected arson in Bromsgrove.

Officers were called to an address on Humphrey Avenue at around 2.15am today (Monday 4 June).

No-one was injured in the incident but the building was damaged.

Enquiries are currently ongoing and officers are remaining open minded as to the cause of the fire.

PC Joann Jinks said: "We are still conducting enquiries in order to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident.

"I would urge anyone who was in the area at that time and may have seen something suspicious to come forward.

"There will be an increased police presence in the area over the coming days to reassure the community."
