Appeal for information following car key burglary in Hollywood

West Mercia Police is appealing for information following a car key burglary in Shawhurst Lane, Hollywood, Birmingham.

It happened sometime between 9.00pm on Friday (1 June) and 7.30am on Saturday (2 June).

It is reported that a set of keys containing house keys and car keys were left on a desk but in the morning they were on the floor and the car key was no longer there.

A blue Fiat 500 had been removed from the premises.

Investigating officers are following a number of lines of enquiry in order to trace the vehicle. They are also appealing for information from the public.

PC Joann Jinks for West Mercia Police said: "We would like to hear from anyone in the area at the time who saw a blue fiat 500, or anyone acting suspiciously prior to the incident.

"I would also urge anyone who knows who is responsible to come forward. You can speak to the police directly or remain anonymous by contacting Crimestoppers."
