Appeal for witnesses following assault in Redditch

West Mercia Police is appealing for witnesses or any information relating to an assault in Redditch in the evening of Monday 21 May.

At around 9.20pm, a physical altercation took place between two men outside the Woodrow pub, in the Woodrow Centre.  It's reported one of the men was then struck with a bottle, causing lacerations to his ear and was taken to hospital where he received stitches.

The suspect is described as a mixed race man, around 5ft 8ins or 5ft 9ins, of a slim build with black braided hair. He was believed to be wearing a grey baseball-type hooded top and black or blue jeans.

Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the offence. If you have any information, please call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident 755 on 21 May 2018.
