Appeal for information following violent home invasion in Abbey Road, Kidderminster

West Mercia Police is appealing for information following a violent home invasion in Abbey Road, Kidderminster on Saturday (30 June).

At around 9.25pm, it is reported that a serious assault has occurred in a home invasion, in which a 54 year-old male sustained severe injuries.

The Investigating officers are following a number of lines of enquiry in order to attain the suspects and would like to hear from anyone that may have been in the area at the time of the incident.

DI Sarah Squires for West Mercia Police said: "We would like to hear from anyone in the area at the time who saw anyone acting suspiciously around during Saturday (30 June) evening along Abbey Road."

"I would also urge anyone who knows who is responsible to come forward. You can speak to the police directly or remain anonymous by contacting Crimestoppers."

Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting incident number 851S of 30 June 2018.
