UPDATE: Five arrested following unexplained death in Hereford

UPDATE: All five boys have since been released under investigation.

Five boys from the Hereford area, (four 17-year-olds and a 16-year-old) have been arrested on suspicion of drug related offences, as police continue to investigate the death of a 17-year-old boy.

West Mercia Police was called at 4.15am today (Friday 13 July) following reports of a male collapsing on Old School Lane, Hereford.

He sadly died in hospital. His family has been informed.

A scene guard remains in place on Old School Lane, while officers continue their investigation.

The 17 year old's death is being treated as unexplained.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 and ask to speak to DI Mark Peters.
