Did you see a robbery take place in Comberton Place, Kidderminster?

West Mercia Police is appealing for witnesses or information following a robbery in Kidderminster on Thursday (6 September).

At around 11.05pm, 27 year-old-man was walking from Kidderminster train station, walking towards Comberton Road and then turned left into Comberton Place. He entered an alleyway which runs from the end of Comberton Place, towards Kidderminster Harriers football stadium. As he was in the alley, parallel to Pannier Close, it is believed he was approached by three men.

It is believed that three men approached him and told him to empty his pockets and bag and struck the man with a baton. The incident was interrupted, when it is believed a member of the public walked past the area, and the three males left the scene.

The man, who had been approached, carried on walking and as he exited the alleyway, it is believed the same three men ran up behind him and took his bag.

The bag contained a laptop and approximately £30-40 was also taken.

Minor injuries were sustained.

The three offenders are believed to have run off in the direction of Chester Road South.

They are described as:

Offender one is believed to be a white man, aged late teens to early twenties, around 5ft 9in, of a slim build, with ginger hair that is short on the side and gel in the top. He had no facial hair, pale skin complexion and was believed to be wearing a dark hooded top and dark coloured tracksuit bottoms.
