Witnesses sought to fatal collision - A449, Cookley

West Mercia Police was called at around 2.15pm on Monday (5 November) to reports of a fatal road traffic collision on the A449, Cookley, at the junction with Castle Road.

The incident involved a car and a motorcycle that collided. A 22-year-old man was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. Next of kin have been informed.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

Investigating officers are appealing for information from the public and to help with our investigation we're keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any other information that could help with our enquiries.

PC Dan Bate said: "Sadly, a young man has died during a collision between a motorcycle and a car on Monday 5 November, if you saw anything that may help us with our enquiries please call us on 101."   

Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting incident number 354S of 5 November.
