Appeal for witnesses following robbery - Oakengates, Telford

West Mercia Police is appealing for witnesses or information following a robbery in Oakengates last night (Thursday 29 November).

Shortly before 8.50pm, a man entered a shop on Limes Walk whilst carrying an item, believed to be a hammer.
 
He demanded money from the till and then leave the store on foot with a quantity of cash.
 
There were no reported injuries.
 
The offender is described as a tall slim white man. He was wearing a black hoody, black trousers, black trainers, a black balaclava and gloves.
 
Detective Constable Craig Edwards from West Mercia Police said: "We have launched an investigation and a number of enquiries are currently ongoing.

"If anyone witnessed the offence, please call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident reference 709s of 29 November 2018."
