Two men injured in Worcester incident

Two men have been taken to hospital with stab wounds following an incident in Worcester this evening (Saturday 29 December).

The incident was reported to police at 7.14pm after the men were discovered near to the fire station on Copenhagen Street. At this time police believe the incident occurred near to the fountains on Copenhagen Street.

Police believe another man may have been injured in the incident and are trying to locate him.

Detective Chief Inspector Ian Wall said: "Our priority at the moment is to check on the welfare of another man we believe was injured in this incident. I'd urge anyone with information that could help us to locate this man to contact us as a matter of urgency.

"An investigation has been launched to establish exactly what has occurred. I would appeal for anyone who witnessed the incident to get in touch."
